It is the first Chinese drama to explore the Hanfu culture that has been rising in popularity with a theme that brings ancient influences into a campus setting.
When the handsome ruffian Wang Bei Chen meets his quirky 'younger brother' Chu Yi, when the mischievous Xia Tian crosses paths with Wan Nian who dotes on her excessively, when the scholarly Cheng Gong encounters the Yu Xiu Mei who's tough yet gentle at the same time, when the food-obsessed Zhang Wei faces the graceful goddess Qin Yu Yan and textbook green tea Lin Wei Wei, their stories began that dark and windy night.
