Kagura Ran, a former child actor turned lawyer, left the legal world after her best friend was wrongfully accused of murder. A year later, an article by scriptwriter Kurosawa Jin circulates online, portraying her as a highly successful lawyer with an unblemished record. Motivated by this recognition, she returns to law and teams up with Kurosawa to clear her friend's name and bring the case to a final resolution.
