Siangphleng and Wan Wanwiwa have grown up in the same household, but with different statuses—Phleng as the homeowner's child, and Wan as a worker. Despite their bond, Wan eventually tells Phleng she will have to marry. Phleng plans to find a good match for Wan, only to realize her own feelings for her. As their love deepens, Phleng loses her parents in a business failure and runs away, leaving only a love letter for Wan. When they meet again, Wan is engaged.
