Yun Jin Chu, a top assassin from the 22nd century, accidentally travels back to ancient times and wakes up having been drugged alongside the supposedly sickly heir of the Prince of Zhennan.
After exposing his disguise, she discovers that the heir—rumored to be weak and chronically ill—is actually ruthless and calculating. Forced into repeated encounters, the two become entangled in court conspiracies. Using both strength and strategy, Yun Jin Chu defeats her enemies one by one. When she realizes the heir is the key to everything and approaches him to negotiate peace, the scheming man seizes her hand and declares, “I will marry you.”
