Top student Ji Hye dreams of joining an overseas study program to improve her English. When she finally gets the opportunity, she discovers that she cannot obtain a passport because she is still legally registered under her estranged father, whom she has long lost contact with.
Frustrated by the situation, Ji Hye’s resentment toward her family only deepens. However, as the problem forces her to confront long-standing tensions at home, she gradually begins to understand that each member of her family is carrying their own pain in different ways.
