Sheng Shi has loved Gu Lan Shan since high school, but she is in love with Han Cheng Chi. Unable to accept this, Sheng Shi manipulates her into becoming his. Feeling betrayed, Gu Lan Shan tries to escape on her wedding day, but her younger brother’s accident leaves her with high medical bills. She turns to Sheng Shi for help, but he demands marriage in return. Both enter the marriage with misunderstandings about love—one seeks closeness, while the other wants to escape, leaving both hurt.
