In order to repay a life-saving favor, Zhuang Qian Xi becomes engaged to Huo Zhi An for three years, quietly maintaining a well-known but nominal engagement. It is not until Zuo Xiao Luo, Huo Zhi An’s childhood friend, returns from abroad that Zhuang Qian Xi becomes completely disheartened. To avoid alarming their families, both sides continue to maintain a superficial relationship.
During this time, Zhuang Qian Xi meets Huo Yu Cheng, Huo Zhi An’s elder cousin and the chairman of the Huo Group. She gradually realizes that this restrained and gentle man may be the one who truly saved her. Whether the broken engagement will lead to a new destination remains uncertain.
