On their engagement night, Jiang Wan Zhi, a movie producer, is driving the car where her fiancé, Fu Heng Yue, the young master of the Fu family, is openly having sex with her cousin, Sun Qui An, in the backseat. Since Jiang Wan Zhi’s family went bankrupt and left her with a lot of debt, she has to endure marrying this scumbag.
Wanting to have a bit of fun with the two, she drives fast and recklessly, and ends up hitting another car. It turns out that the owner of that car is none other than Zhou Li Cheng, the CEO of the Zhou Group, but also Fu Heng Yue’s uncle, and Jiang Wan Zhi’s ex-boyfriend, whom she cruelly broke up with 3 years earlier.
Soon, the two of them are yet again entangled as Zhou Li Cheng tries his best to persuade Jiang Wan Zhi to get back together, while Jiang Wan Zhi does her best to repay the debt to the Fu family and conceal the real reason for her breaking up back then. Along the way, they discover the truth behind the Jiang family bankruptcy, which cost Jiang Wan Zhi both her parents.
