The warlord’s wife, the fake Su Ying (actually Su Lan), forces the mute girl Shen Wan Yin into surrogacy. But Shen Wan Yin is in fact the real Su Ying, who has returned with a new face. Pretending to be mute, she conceals her sharpness while plotting revenge for her parents. Su Lan once slaughtered Su Ying’s entire family and assumed her identity to marry in her place, unaware that what the warlord truly loved was Su Ying’s unique voice and soul. The warlord finds himself unable to resist his true feelings, while the fake Su Ying schemes and pursues her ruthlessly—until the story culminates in a dramatic reversal.
