Igarashi Raito is a city hall employee who is in his 10th year of working life. In a risky society where a big flame is just around the corner, he feels the pressure of "not to fail" and has lived a life with stability as his first priority.
An old man who claims to be "Igarashi Raito from the future" appears before Yorito. Due to the old man's values and bold actions from 2054, all the homework in life that Yorito himself has been ignoring, such as dreams and work, friendship and love, marriage and family, are suddenly "blown away".
After his failed proposal to his girlfriend Tsutsui Rin begins, will Yorito be able to survive in this turbulent life, as the values of the "future" of 2054 collide with those of the "present" of 2024?
