Kuki Reiko, a 27-year-old accountant, lives frugally due to a past incident. A year ago, she discovered small dishes at a secondhand store and, after much deliberation, decided to buy them. However, when she returns to purchase them, a couple, including her boss's son, Saruwatari Keita, buys them first.
A few days later, Reiko finds Keita working in the accounting department after his father sends him there to learn the value of money. Reiko, known for her frugality, is tasked with teaching him, but will their relationship remain strictly about money?
