Three families with different backgrounds face challenges as they send their children to study abroad. Huang Cheng Dong must accompany his son Huang Xiao Dong to the US after his wife’s visa is rejected. There, he meets Lin Sa, a former executive who sacrifices her career to marry into a rich family and help her stepdaughter, Wu Dan Dan, study abroad. After a series of mishaps, Huang Cheng Dong discovers that Liu Ruo Yu, his son’s guardian, is facing troubles of her own, forcing him to find a way to stay in the US. Through laughter and tears, the families navigate trials that test their relationships.
